What if

YOU WANT TO WORK IN
ONE OF LONDON'S MOST
ICONIC BUILDINGS?

Kirkland & Ellis London is located in the Gherkin, perhaps the most distinctive building on the city’s horizon with an international reputation that’s synonymous with ours. With big views of the city, great local eating and shopping, the Kirkland & Ellis café on the 22nd floor and your own office when you complete your training, you can enjoy one of the best environments to practice law in the capital.

The Gherkin

Working in the Gherkin puts you right in the heart of the capital’s financial district. The 41-storey building was designed by Norman Foster with Arup Group and, in total, is 180 metres high. Each time you welcome clients and guests into the building you’ll feel the buzz of working in one of the most distinctive office buildings there is, in one of the best cities in the world.

Your Own Office Space

Part of the enjoyment of working in the Gherkin is enjoying unrivalled views across London while you sit at your desk. Once you qualify you’ll have your own office space to enjoy them from – it’s a mark of your achievement and a place where you can look forward to growing your knowledge, experience and first class law career even further.

Eat at the Gherkin

Café 22, our in house restaurant, serves freshly prepared hot dishes and salads as well as a selection of sweet and savoury pastries all at subsidised prices. On every floor there are pantries from which a free breakfast is provided every day ranging from freshly baked muffins to fresh fruit and cereal.

Local Area

There’s lots to enjoy in the local area at lunchtimes and after work. Every Thursday international food stalls set up outside the Gherkin. Leadenhall Market is nearby offering a range of independent cafés, shops and stalls. A bit further again is Spitalfields Market where contemporary brands and stylish cafés, bars and boutiques stand alongside each other, creating a great place to relax and shop.
